Smartphone checkout for Marriott’s U.S. loyalty members… sounds like a good idea for all hotels


Hopefully, this is just the beginning. Anytime the private or public sector can help visitors get out of unnecessary lines or avoid any sort unpleasant red tape, they’ll appreciate it.  As I’ve mentioned before in this blog, every experience colors the visitor’s perception of a destination, especially the little things.

Marriott Hotels launched mobile checkout this month at all of its 329 U.S. hotels nationwide and will add all 500 later this year.
